For the students who weren't proficient in English, we used posters acted as visual cues to be aware of the different values.
VALUES SHARING CIRCLE
Coming together as a class at end of the day with the teacher, provided a platform for the students to discuss, reflect and call out instances of demonstration of values, through the day.
Apart from publicly recognising students for demonstrating values in class, values trackers provided teachers and students with numerous examples from the classroom, to discuss and praise at values sharing circles.
PARENT TEACHER MEETING
To build a synchronised culture of values for children at home too, we involved their parents by making them aware of the values through role plays and discussions, and providing them with ways to respond to instances of their children showing/not showing values at home.
